Ken Zetterquist (The best Harley Mechanic in the area), owner of Z Man Machining in Chico, California. Ken entered his 1998 Buell S-3 in the 1998 road rally that ran a loop from Salt Lake City, Utah around the state and back to Salt Lake City. Z Man ran the twenty-four hour, 1,271 mile course as hard as he felt the engine could handle. Without an oil cooler he used about a quart of oil and finished 40th.

In the '99 rally, his Buell was equipped with a Narleys Oil Cooler and Thermovalve kit. Ken was able to ride much harder and faster, covering the 1,423 mile, three state (Utah, Colorado, Nevada) course to finish 14th. His S-3 ran smoother, quieter, and used a fraction of the oil compared to the previous year.
