  1. Remove crash bar mounting bolt.
  2. Insert bracket between crash bar tab and frame cross bar and re-install bolt.
  3. Rotate lower clamps to position screw heads toward the outside.
  4. Place top of cooler in front of bracket and install clamp around cooler and lower bracket bar, with the screw toward the rear and the screw head down.
  5. Fasten lower clamps around frame rails. See NOTE B below.

NOTE B:
Depending on the diameter of your frame rails, 1 1/4", 1 1/8", or 1", you may want to shorten the ends of the lower clamps so they do not extend beyond the screw heads. Count the number of slots you want to shorten. Remove and shorten clamps, file or grind ends smooth, reinstall clamps.
