The clearance between the Oil Cooler and the Front Fender can be increased by one or more of the following methods:

  • A)  Some Buell owners have moved the Fender forward by using longer Mounting Screws and Spacer Washers.


  • B)  Bend the Lower Cooler Bracket back.


  • C)  Using a 1 inch diameter Sanding Drum, grind away the Cooler Fins in the area of the Link Rod. This will allow further bending of the Lower Bracket. As illustrated in [Fig. 4]

- CAUTION -
Do not grind the Fin down to the Cooler Tube.
