- Place the two Upper Clamps around the Frame Tubes. Do not tighten at this time.
- Adjust the upper ends of the Cooler so that the centerline of the Cooler Tube is approximately even with centerline of the Frame Tubes. At the lower end, the Cooler centerline will be about 3/4 inches (19mm) forward of the Frame Tube centerline.
- Read THE SPECIAL NOTE [Fig.1]. Click Here
- Follow the directions given in the Warning [Fig.1]. Check the clearance between the Oil Cooler and the Front Fender.
- Adjust the positioning of the Cooler and if necessary, make modifications outlined in items A, B, and C on Illustration [Fig. 4]
- Tighten the Link Rod Bolt and the three Mounting Clamps. Then check the clearance again.
